![]() ![]() The driver said he was coming from a party in Salem and allegedly admitted to drinking alcohol. Officers could smell alcohol on his breath and in the vehicle. The driver said he did not see that the road ended and drove into mud, getting stuck and unable to get out. Route 62/state Route 45 bypass interchange. Saturday found a vehicle off of the end of the U.S. She was told to be careful and stay out of the road. ![]() She said she was out for a walk and was ok. Sunday to Chestnut Grove Road to check on a female walking in the street and coming in and out of the woods. They were told the rules and given a verbal warning for being on the road. Police spoke with the juvenile and his father who said they were working on the dirt bike and tried it out on the road. Sunday reported a juvenile riding a dirt bike up and down the road in the 1300 block of Andrew Avenue. All were told it’s a civil matter and to separate and limit contact between the groups of children. The other party said the juveniles were harassing their child by yelling at him from the street. A caller said residents on Indiana Boulevard were harassing their children. Sunday to the area of Van Buren and Indiana Boulevard for a neighbor dispute/juvenile complaint. He was voluntarily transported to Salem Regional Medical Center. Monday to the 1100 block of Benton Road for a welfare check on an intoxicated male having thoughts of harming himself. ![]()
